On the way is her house

When I saw her for the first time

How should I tell her that she resides in my heart

Main toh nahi keh saka koi batade usse
I wasn’t able to tell her, but can somebody do that

Uski gali mein hai dhali kitni hi shaamein meri
I’ve spent so many evenings in her street

I tried in a hundred different ways

Jaake usse na kuch bol paye
But I wasn’t able to say anything to her

I just kept sitting there all night

I forget everything when I go close to her

Milti hai jab yeh nazar

But she doesn’t live there anymore

I’ve heard that she has left

Khaali pada hai yeh shehar
And this city is empty now

Main phir bhi jaata hoon sab dohrata hoon
I still go there and repeat everything

Shayad mile kuch khabar
In hope that I’ll get some news of her
